Description
Elegant, mild and slightly bitter. Castelfranco radicchio is an Italian variety with delicate cream-coloured leaves marked by distinctive red-purple speckles. Its flavour is refined, gently bitter and pleasantly fresh.
Ideal in salads, but also delicious lightly grilled or incorporated into warm preparations. It pairs beautifully with citrus, nuts, mild cheeses and light vinaigrettes.
